YOUTH MUST RUN IN YOUTH TO GET YOUTH POINTS

Points- Points will be awarded in each division 1D-4D PER SANCTIONING RACE RESULTS Example: if you win 3rd in a division but you were the highest placing MWBR member you will still win the 3rd place points. If youth is not done in 4D format, Midwest Best office will audit and give points to 4D. Points will be awarded as follows:

  • Every person that enters an event and physically runs will receive 1 point that will count in the respective division they run in that day. If a contestant receives a “no time”, no points will be awarded.
  •  Points will be awarded from 1st down to 10th place in each division. With first receiving 10 points, second receiving 9 points, third receiving 8 points, fourth receiving 7 points, fifth receiving 6 points, sixth receiving 5 points, seventh receiving 4 points, eighth receiving 3 points, ninth receiving 2 points, and tenth receiving 1 point.
  • In the event of a tie both contestants will receive that places points.
  • Finals points will be doubled in each round of competition (will still only give points to 10 places).
  • IT IS THE CONTESTANTS RESPONSIBILITY TO AUDIT THEIR POINTS AND CONTACT THE OFFICE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM.

Double point events

Double point events will be marked as double point events and will offer double points at event, giving points down to 10th place in each division but doubling the amount of points the rider gets. Example: first place will get 20 points instead of 10. These will also act as a double finals’ qualifier.
